Kaboose fitness expert Cathy Moxley, author of The Busy Mom's Ultimate Fitness Guide, has solutions to the five biggest obstacles associated with getting off the couch. Try them now - you'll get moving in no time!

Problem #1: "I'm too tired."You know that exercise will give you more energy, but sometimes finding the energy to exercise is the tough part.

Solution. Even just a bit of exercise will get more oxygen pumping into your system, which equals energy galore. Start small. Tell yourself you'll do just five minutes. Next thing you know, you may decide that since you're already doing it, you may as well go a bit longer.

Also, consider the time of day that you choose to exercise. Evening is not usually the best time, for example, since most busy moms are wiped out by that time. Really think about your schedule and what will work for you. You may need to get creative. My client, Shari, a work-from-home mother of two swears by scheduling twice-weekly workouts right after the kids get on the school bus. "It's the only time I set aside for me. I consider it my therapy time!", she says. Early mornings may be another great option, but that doesn't have to mean every morning. Maybe you can plan for one early morning workout per week. Add in a weekend workout and one nap-time workout per week and you've got three workouts without undue strain on any one part of your schedule.
